Transchronological Fibula

This handmade pennanular silver fibula combines both traditional and modern techniques. The open-circle design is crafted entirely by hand, without the use of molds or casting. One side of the fibula features a half-round section, while the other is flat, creating an interesting contrast. A long rod is soldered to one tip, and a bezel-set rutilated quartz is attached to the other, giving the piece a unique balance between the technical and the organic. The result is a distinctive piece that blends antique and contemporary, organic and technical styles in a thoughtful, understated way.
