Black Flower Pendant

This pendant is entirely handmade from fine silver, with no casting, each part is carefully fabricated using traditional techniques.

The outer shell, shaped using a die I made, features eight rounded lobes inspired by Viking beads and bowls. Inside, the flower is built from fine silver wire, with the petals fused to the surface using colloidal soldering. The center is decorated with tiny granules, fused using the same technique. The inner flower was then shaped and soldered to the shell.

The suspension loop is crafted from hand-made beaded wire using ancient goldsmithing methods. It's made in sterling silver for added strength and rigidity.

The entire piece is patinated black, giving it a quiet, mysterious presence.
