Cut entirely by hand from a 900 silver commemorative coin from the Athens Olympics, this pendant reshapes a classical long-jumper into a small suspended figure. By setting the bail on the back, the athlete appears to hang from the waist, echoing the posture seen in old Golden Fleece collars. The original relief of the coin gives the body its quiet details, while the hand cutting turns it into a clean, contemporary silhouette.
